SEO audit: what we review, how we do it and what you receive

An SEO audit is a technical and content review that explains why your site does not show up where it should on Google and in AI search engines, and what to fix first. At Pivoti Labs we review indexing, crawling, speed, structured data, architecture and keywords, and deliver the prioritized findings in writing.

  1. Without an audit, any SEO proposal is a guess. Two sites with the same apparent problem ("I do not show up on Google") can have opposite causes: one is blocking crawling without knowing it and the other is competing for keywords out of reach for its current authority. The audit separates those causes and turns SEO into a list of concrete tasks.

  2. It is a method we document with real data. In the study of unindexed articles we show the step by step: how Search Console reveals that Google crawls pages but does not index them, what causes it and how it is fixed. With the same method we audited 20 websites of companies in Cali: only 4 had a working sitemap.

What the SEO audit includes

Five areas, reviewed with data from your own Search Console and from public tools you can also consult.

  1. Indexing and crawling

How Pivoti Labs delivers it: Coverage in Search Console, pages crawled but not indexed, robots.txt, sitemap, canonical tags and redirects. It includes checking whether your site unintentionally blocks the crawlers of AI search engines.

  2. Performance and mobile experience

How Pivoti Labs delivers it: Core Web Vitals and speed measured in PageSpeed Insights, with the specific causes of each problem. The Core Web Vitals guide explains what each metric measures.

  3. Structure and structured data

How Pivoti Labs delivers it: URL architecture, heading hierarchy, metadata, duplicate content, internal linking and schema.org markup for business, services and FAQs.

  4. Keywords and competition

How Pivoti Labs delivers it: Which searches you compete for today, which are achievable with your current authority and where you are losing traffic to your competitors.

  5. Visibility in AI search engines

How Pivoti Labs delivers it: Whether your content is structured so ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude can extract and cite it: direct answers, FAQs and verifiable data.

What is the audit process like?

The audit has four steps and does not require you to change anything on your site while we do it:

  • Request: you leave us your name, email, the site URL and your city in the form on this page.
  • Access: we ask for read access to Search Console and, if you have it, to Google Analytics. With that we see Google's real data, not estimates from external tools.
  • Review: we analyze the five technical and content areas described above.
  • Delivery: we present the findings in a meeting and leave you the document to use with your team or with us.

What deliverable do you receive?

A document with each finding explained in plain language, its impact on rankings, the evidence behind it (screenshots from Search Console or PageSpeed Insights) and the recommended fix. The findings are prioritized: first what prevents indexing and ranking, then what improves results that already exist.

The document is yours. You can carry out the fixes with your own team, with your current provider or with us. If your site is built on a platform that does not allow the technical structure to be fixed, we tell you so in the audit, with the reasoning, so you invest in SEO that will actually pay off.

What is an advanced SEO audit?

A basic audit reviews what can be seen from outside the site: metadata, speed, HTTPS. The advanced audit goes into Google's data: which pages it decided not to index and why, which queries bring you impressions but not clicks, where your own pages compete with each other for the same search and what your competitors do to outrank you.

That difference is what lets you move from a generic list of recommendations to a plan with priorities. It is the one we apply in every case, because it is the one we use on our own site.

How much does the SEO audit cost?

The initial diagnosis is free: we review your situation and tell you whether there is a problem worth tackling. The full SEO audit, hired on its own, costs 1,500,000 COP in a single payment, VAT included. If you then start one of the two SEO plans, which begin at 4,000,000 COP per month, that amount is credited toward your first month. The figures are published on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an SEO audit take?

It depends on the size of the site and on having access to Search Console. On a small or medium site, the main findings are usually ready within a few business days.

Do I need to give you access to my site?

We do not need access to modify anything. For a full audit we ask for read access to Search Console and, if you have it, to Google Analytics.

What happens after the audit?

You decide. You can fix the findings with your team, with your current provider or with us on one of the SEO plans.

Does the audit guarantee I will show up first on Google?

No, and no serious provider can guarantee that. The audit tells you what is holding back your rankings and what to fix first; the result depends on the competition and on the work that follows.

Is the audit useful if my site is new?

Yes. On a new site it confirms that Google can crawl and index it properly from the start and helps choose achievable keywords.

In summary

  1. The SEO audit explains why your site does not show up where it should and what to fix first.

  2. It reviews indexing, performance, structure, keywords and visibility in AI search engines with your Search Console data.

  3. You receive the prioritized findings in writing and decide who fixes them.

  4. The initial diagnosis is free; the full audit costs 1,500,000 COP in a single payment, VAT included and is credited if you start one of the two SEO plans.
